Red dry wine made of endemic variety of grapes cultivated in the mountainous region of Vayots Dzor in Armenia. Areni dry has a clear scarlet-red colour, gives an immediate sense of mold in the nose, bitterness and aggressiveness on the palate. Slight notes of cantaloupe and walnut linger in the medium-lasting aftertaste. Great accompaniment to Roquefort cheese, vegetable and meat dishes.
Bottled in 500 ml. antique style wine bottles.
